STAFF at a St Helier convenience store were allegedly robbed in broad daylight on Saturday.
Two men allegedly walked into Foodfayre in Dorset Street at around lunchtime and held up the shop.
Police say that they made off with just a packet of cigarettes.Two men were arrested in St Helier at around 4.30 pm on Saturday and were yesterday questioned by police.
A number of knives were seized from the vicinity of their arrest.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 12.30 pm and 2 pm is asked to call the investigating officers on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
