HOTELIER Robert Weston has confirmed that he will be a candidate in the forthcoming Senatorial by-election.
The JEP revealed on Saturday that Mr Weston, who is president of the Jersey Hospitality Association, was considering putting his name forward to oppose Juliette Gallichan and former Senator Dick Shenton.The nomination meeting is tonight at the Town Hall at 7.30 pm and unless there is a surprise candidate, it would appear that only the three candidates will fight it out on 24 March for the seat vacated by former Senator Christopher Lakeman.
