SHOOTING: David Turner won the Cobo Open shooting competition in Guernsey at the weekend, beating Guernseyman Jamie Cirigliano into second place.

He finished fifth.
HOCKEY: In the Jersey Women’s Hockey Association League Division I, Jersey Ladies 1sts were beaten 6-2 by RWB while Caesareans beat Crusaders 1sts 12-0.
In the men’s Division I, OV Victims beat JHC Ormers 7-2.
In Division II, JHC Lions beat OV Veterans 5-2 in a league and Minor Cup double-header while the JWHA side took on Crusaders and beat them 4-3.
JHC Thornbacks beat Crusaders 10-2 in a re-arranged Minor Cup game.
The Island men’s team had a training weekend in London and played Oxsted yesterday, among whose number is former GB international Callum Giles.
Jersey were beaten 7-4.
In the inter-collegiate matches between Victoria and Elizabeth Colleges, played in Jersey, Elizabethan teams beat the VC 1st XI 2-1 (Richard White scored for VC), and the VC Colts 4-1 (Charles White scored for Colts).
Playing in Guernsey VC 2nd XI drew 4-4 and the Year 7 team also drew, 1-1.BADMINTON: Jersey beat Berkshire 2nds 8-7 on Saturday in the penultimate Inter-County league match of the season.
