JERSEYMAN Marc Whiteman has helped Lewes back to the top of the Ryman League Division I South.
The former Manchester United youth player won man-of-the-match awards in his club’s last two games, a3-0 victory against Molesey on Tuesday night and a 4-2 success against Corinthian Casuals last Saturday.Whiteman notched a brace against the Casuals while scoring once against Molesey and setting up another.The wins have lifted south-coast Lewes into first place, a point ahead of Windsor and Eton, with the division’s top two teams meeting on Saturday at Lewes.
