Paris Lane murder accused in court

A TEENAGER charged with the attempted rape, robbery and murder of nursery nurse Tracy Burns appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today.

Paul Greenan (18), of Belfast, reserved his plea to the three charges allegedly committed in the early hours of Sunday 14 March.

It is the second time the defendant has appeared before the Magistrate.

His first appearance was two weeks ago, two days after he was arrested.Assistant Magistrate Ian Christmas remanded Greenan in custody until his next appearance on 26 April.

No application was made for bail.
