A crowd of 600 watched yesterday’s Bouley Bay Hillclimb where only one record was broken - Jon Goodwin taking nearly a second off his 2003 Ferrari record, lowering it to 50.31.
However, the day was marked by the number of injuries.
Peter Le Druillenec broke two of his fingers when he lost control of his Miller Hart racing car and his steering wheel whipped around on impact and Darryl Morris broke his collarbone when the throttle jammed on his 125 cc Kart and he hitt a bank.
