THE UK’s largest vitamin mail order company plans to bring more tourists to Jersey.
Healthspan, which is based in Guernsey, has just opened a shop in King Street selling vitamins, skin products and supplements.
It now has plans to invest in the Island’s tourism sector.
Having bought two hotels in Guernsey and another one in Alderney, as well as a 50 per cent stake in the airline Rock- hopper, Healthspan managing director Derek Coates now wants to sell Jersey to his two million customers.
‘We asked a sample of ten thousand how they would respond to a holiday in a Heathspan hotel in the Channel Islands and 90 per cent said that they would come,’ he said.
