SPECIAL travel arrangements are being made to transport Islanders and visitors back in time to the Middle Ages for the Jersey Revels.
With thousands of people expected to converge on Gorey from tomorrow to Sunday, five free and one paid parking areas have been created.
A free park-and-ride service will be operated over the three days to ferry revellers to the arena between Gorey Village and Mont Orgueil.
Cars displaying disabled badges will be accommodated as close as possible to the arena.
The Revels will also be served by the Island’s public transport service, with several buses operating every hour from morning to late at night heading east on routes 1, 1a and 1b.
However, the No 1 route will terminate at Gorey Village.
Motorists are reminded that Gorey Coast Road will be closed from today through to next Tuesday.
