THE way Jersey tackles its drugs problems will be openly reviewed at the first ever series of shadow scrutiny panel public hearings next month.
Around 800 Islanders use heroin regularly and over the last three months the shadow scrutiny panel, led by Deputy Jerry Dorey, has been reviewing the help available for these addicts.
As part of the process the professionals and politicians responsible for providing services for drug users are to face the panel in public in July.
