A 44-YEAR-OLD mother was killed in a powerboat racing accident just yards from the beach in St Ouen on Saturday.
Susan Wright was formally pronounced dead on the beach at 1.50 pm, around an hour after a crash between two boats in the Thunderduck event at Le Braye.
She suffered what the paramedics described as ‘massive internal trauma’.
Friends and family yesterday returned to the beach to lay wreaths at the scene of the crash and remember .
Mrs Wright had worked in the finance industry for most of her life and had just started as a director at Rathbone’s trust company.
