THE police are being called an average of three times a day to a town estate which residents say is ruled by ‘out of control’ youths.
Figures released today show that officers went to the Le Geyt Road area 51 times in the first three weeks of last month to deal with public order disturbances.
Those response vehicles were in addition to 35 extra patrols sent to the States Housing area in June after it was declared one of three crime ‘hot-spots’ in the Island.
The other two have not been identified publicly.
Housing president Deputy Terry Le Main has already pledged to evict families whose children are identified as being trouble makers.
He said he had been flooded with dozens of calls about nuisance behaviour from estates around the Island since the start of the hot weather.
