TENNIS: Despite drawing 12 matches all at the weekend, Jersey lost out on lifting or sharing the inter-insular Bucktrout Trophy as holders Guernsey retain the cup under the competition's rules. The annual double's tournament was played on Sunday at the Caesarean Tennis Club. Jersey won the men's doubles 5-3, while they lost the ladies' doubles 3-5 and both teams drew four matches each in the mixed.
