VOLLEYBALL: Results from the fourth annual JVA Beach Twos tournament, sponsored by Vision Express, were: Champions: Vision Express men (Paul Gartshore and Paul Adamson) beat Mange Tout (Peter Cadiou and Stefan Gimenez) in the final.

GOLF: The Demi Golf Society’s Club Championship, played at St Clement’s on Saturday, was won by Kenny Mitchell with a gross 71, net 60, one ahead of Ian Beeley (73, 61).
Paul King (79, 63) was third.
GOLF: Rob Leader took the Captain’s Prize after scoring 45 Stableford points off a nine handicap at the Royal Jersey Golf Club on Saturday.
Phil Bolton came in second with 41 off 12 and Bobby Bailey finished third, also with a score of 41, but playing off a handicap of eight.
SHOOTING: With a score of 42 ex 50, John De La Haye won the class A and High Gun clay pigeon round at Crabbé on Sunday in the 50 Bird Sporting competition.
Albert Able and Ross Boydens took the B class with a score of 33 ex 50 while Steve Gallichan and Robert Wilson won the C class, also scoring 33 ex 50.
SAILING: In the Royal Channel Island Yacht Club Hobie fleet Summer Breeze races, in St Aubin’s Bay, Simon Swain and Bianca Kempster won in the combined fleets class.
Robin and Jane Gravestock finished second while Tim Mitchell and James Le Couillard finished third.
In the cadet dragoons, Simon Thébault and Luke Carney took the honours, ahead of Alex and Leon Pearce with Jamie Riddock and Rory Rice in third.This is the style for the Monday round-up.
SHOOTING: The R Honeycombe Shield went to Billy Goode on Saturday in the Modern Military Arms Association 7.62 rifle and pistol competition at Crabbé.
His impressive score of 84 was 23 points clear of second-placed Gary Godel.
SOFTBALL: In the Barclays Outdoor League Scotiabank Storm beat Ansbacher Flyers by 18 to 13; CPC Pirates 5, Cubs 15; Barclays Niners 15, MGs 0; Barclays Blue Sox 16, Gordon’s Falcons 15.
