JERSEY’S world championship sand sculptor, Symon Smith, has been given a new waterfront site to ply his trade.
A year after he admitted defeat in his battle against the vandals and packed up and left the Island, Mr Smith has been given a new site in front of the trampoline and skate park at the waterfront.
He also has a £5,000 grant from the Waterfront Enterprise Board.
Mr Smith (45) said that he was very pleased to be able to resume his work in Jersey.
