JERSEY brothers Alex (16) and Leon Pearce (13) finished a superb ninth in the Hobie Cat Dragoon world championships in Duinbergen, Belgium, yesterday afternoon.
The Victoria College pair were just one of four top 20 finishers from the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club party that were tackling the event for the first time.
The others were: Simon Thébault (15) and Luke Carney (14) in 12th; Francesca Eddy (16) and Jodie Carney (13) in 14th; and Jamie Riddock (15) and Rory Rice (14) in 18th.
