Sand scupltor brokenhearted by vandalism

SAND sculptor Symon Smith was in tears today after vandals attacked his latest creation.

Despite a ten-foot high fence surrounding his latest work, vandals climbed in overnight and caused damage to four days of work.

It was the second attack in the last couple of days on his creation at a new waterfront site and follows repeated vandalism when he displayed works in the Island last year on another waterfront site.

Mr Smith has now vowed to leave the Island as soon as possible.
