HOUSE prices remained stable in Jersey in the second quarter of the year.
However, sales of a number of four-bedroom houses for £750,000 or more pushed the index up by four per cent overall.
If four-bedroom properties are excluded, the index actually fell by 0.1 per cent.
The house price survey is good news for owners of two-bedroom flats.
Overall, prices rose by about £37,000 for those properties during the quarter with the average sale being £256,000 whereas at the end of the first quarter the price was £219,000.
