A FRANTIC Jersey mother is desperately waiting for news of her teenage children missing in Lebanon.
Emily (19) and Josh (18) Gledhill, their dad Roy and his wife Saide were supposed to have returned home from a holiday last Monday.
But Abigail Gledhill said that she had heard nothing in more than a week and was beside herself with worry.
‘All I know is that they’re supposed to be somewhere in the mountains.
Today (Friday) I just broke down at work and I had to come home.
We have two churches praying for us all.
You become a news addict and can’t leave the house in case the phone goes.
It is terrible,’ she said.
The youngsters travelled to Lebanon with father Roy - a teacher who gives private tuition in physics and mathematics - to visit the family of stepmother Saide for what was supposed to be a three-week holiday.
‘Josh phoned when hostilities first broke out to say that they were OK, but they were supposed to be home last Monday and I have heard nothing,’ said Mrs Gledhill from her St Lawrence home.
STOP PRESS: This morning Mrs Gledhill heard that the children were safe and well.
Full details on Monday.
