A BEAULIEU girl has been crowned Miss St Brelade.
Eighteen-year-old Hannah Daghorn beat five other competitors to take the title. The runner-up was Ashly Cope. The Year 13 student is studying performing arts, sociology and English literature and is hoping to go to Brighton University in September to study primary teaching. At weekends she teaches young children at Mini Chefs and works as a lifeguard at Les Quennevais Sports Centre. She said she has been involved in the Battle of Flowers a number of times. ‘I thought it would be really exciting to enter this competition and that I would be a good role model for the parish,’ she said.
