A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was allegedly sprayed in the face with CS spray when police stormed a house at Clos Gosset after the Champions League final.
She was blinded for a time and said she had never been so scared in her life. Police had forced open the door of the house and started spraying ‘everyone in sight’, say witnesses. Police had been called to the estate on Wednesday after a disturbance following Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Italian side AC Milan. They arrested seven people and said they were forced to use CS spray to control the situation as football fans were fighting among each other. But witnesses have told the JEP that the police did not warn anyone before using the spray in the house at the centre of the disturbance.
