IN front of millions of TV viewers on BBC ‘Newsnight’ last night, Jersey’s Chief Minister was accused of caring more about the Island’s international reputation than decades of child abuse.
Senator Frank Walker said later, however, that he had been misquoted by presenter Jeremy Paxman and that concern for children was paramount.
He has called last night’s programme hugely disappointing and thoroughly unprofessional.
