JERSEY’s James Queree received one of three AFC Bournemouth awards presented before their League One win against Crewe Alexandre last Saturday.
The former Jersey Wanderers player collected the David Coleman Memorial Award, chosen by Head of Youth Joe Roche together with the U18 team manager and physiotherapist.
Queree’s two-year apprenticeship with Bournemouth came to an end this week following the Reserves’ final league game on Thursday.
The defender has played regularly for the U18s this season together and captained the Reserves on a number of occasions.
With the financial future of Bournemouth still uncertain, Queree - and all the staff at the club, including Jersey-born first-team striker Brett Pitman, do not know where their immediate lies.
