A SUPERB strike from player-of-the-match Rochelle Vaudin ended Jersey’s six-match winning run in the women’s Cimandis Muratti on Sunday afternoon at Springfield.
Jersey paid the price for losing possession 25 yards from goal and Vaudin’s speculative rising shot flew into the top corner and out of the reach of Jersey goalkeeper Helen Lagadu in the closing minute of the first half.
It was certainly a strike worthy of winning any match, but it made Jersey feel hard done by as they had the better of the few chances created and more possession.
