THE 25th annual Andy Coughlan Memorial ten mile race attracted 83 entries on Sunday, with Andy Murfin the first home in 57 min 43 sec.
The race, in memory of the former Jersey Spartan AC distance runner, is sponsored by two of his former running mates, John Lyons and Jimmy Hickey, and by his children, Sean, Maxine and Karen.
Dominated
The men’s race was dominated by former pro footballer Andy Murfin who came home unchallenged after taking an early lead.
Catherine Hutton won the women’s race in 64.09.
