Gorey Pier ready to tickle the taste buds

00321099_2_cropped.jpgSEAFOOD is on the menu for tomorrow’s Fête de la Mer at Gorey Pier.

Every year the event sees thousands of Islanders flock to the picturesque harbour to enjoy an array of food, drink and live music.

As always, seafood will be the order of the day with freshly caught scallops, moules and oysters, but there will also be traditional fish and chips, burgers, espetadas, Jersey wonders and ice-cream.

There is a full programme of entertainment throughout the day, with live music from a variety of bands and the return of stilt performers from the UK who proved very popular at last year’s event. The event is on between 11.30 am and 5.30 pm.
