ISLANDERS need to have more understanding of what Durrell does if it is to survive the next 50 years.
That was the message from the trust yesterday as it launched the It’s Time! campaign.
Next year Durrell celebrates its 50th birthday and is using this milestone to educate Islanders about the work undertaken by its team of scientists and conservationists.
At his first official presentation, Durrell’s new chief executive, Paul Masterton, said: ‘It really is time to get people, organisations and governments motivated around conservation.
