TWO more children’s teeth have been found in the cellars at Haut de la Garenne this week, making a total of 11 discovered at the former children’s home.
The forensic team continue to sift through the many bins full of debris retrieved during the search of the building, including the cellars.
Deputy police chief Lenny Harper said today that he could not yet give a date when the police team would be leaving the site, which they have been searching since February.
‘The departure date depends on the speed in sieving the mass of material waiting for inspection,’ he said. ‘This is dependent on the number of specialists available to us, and there is a demand elsewhere in Europe for their services at present.’
