HOLLYOAKS and Dancing on Ice star Chris Fountain is coming to the Island this summer to perform at Kyran Bracken’s Ice Party.
And Islanders will be given the opportunity to take ice-skating lessons from professionals as part of the project, which is being held at Fort Regent.
Mr Bracken was in the Island yesterday to announce a number of additions to his ice show, which is being premièred in Jersey in July.
For the week-long show, the World Cup-winning rugby star turned international ice dancer has bought his own ice-rink to enable him to carry out his dream of bringing an ice-skating show to his home Island.
Yesterday he said that one Dancing on Ice winner, former Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw, will also be coming to Jersey for the summer show. However, she is unable to skate because she is currently performing in the hit show Chicago. She will come onto the ice each night to be introduced to the audience.
Chris Fountain (20) is well known for playing the role of Justin Burton in the Channel 4 soap since 2003 and at this year’s British Soap Awards he won both Best Actor and Most Spectacular Scene of the Year. He also came third in the BBC show Just The Two Of Us in 2006 and was runner-up in the third series of Dancing on Ice last year.
