The event took place at the Radisson Hotel and was attended by 95 students as well as members of staff. Deputy head teacher Carl Howarth attended the ball and said that a great night was had by all.

‘It was a wonderful occasion,’ he said. ‘The students were really smart in their outfits and it was a very happy end to their school year. They have all worked so hard.

The ball was organised by three students through the school’s enterprise programme - Ashley Batho, Poppy Gouguelin and Katie Foley.
