MORE than 100 students and staff from Grainville School celebrated in style on Friday night at the Radisson Hotel.
The school’s Year 11 prom was held to mark the end of the students’ GCSE exams and included welcome drinks, live music, a slide show, buffet and disco.
During the evening, the school’s prom king and queen were also announced. Voted for by those present at the event, they were Phil Franca and Sarah Pitta.
Organiser Dave Roworth, Grainville’s deputy head teacher, said that students and staff had worked well together in recent weeks to plan the send-off.
