‘The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.’

This quote, from Paul Valéry, has inspired a new café on St Aubin’s High Street.

The statement adorns the wall of Samantha Jane Bore’s Wake Up Café, which she has set up with partner David Cheffin-Parish.]

The café has replaced Le Village Deli and uses fresh, locally sourced, produce to create a range of healthy meals.
Breakfast is a speciality and there is also a French bistro menu available in the evenings.

‘It’s very much like the café I grew up in Epping in the 70s,’ said Mr Cheffin-Parish, owner of nearby restaurant Cheffins, who added that ‘there’s nowhere better in the world than St Aubin’s’.
