JERSEY businesses are now invited to enter for the Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards 2008.
There are ten categories and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 21 November. In past years the event has attracted over 600 people.
The awards, now in their 12th year, were launched last week by members of the Jersey branch of the CIM. This year’s theme will be linked to the concept of corporate social responsibility, and Lee Durrell of Durrell Wildlife will be presenting the awards.
The main award for marketing excellence recognises the most outstanding achievement of the year and judges will be looking for the most innovative and successful campaign, regardless of the size or nature of the organisation.
Last year’s overall winner, the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon team (pictured), spoke about the sense of pride the win had created within their office and also recognition for the Jersey team within the Standard Chartered Group. Entry forms are available online at www.cim.je.
