MISS Battle 2008 made a return to her former school last weekend to open their summer fête.
Holly Fraser said that she was delighted to have the chance to revisit Beaulieu Convent School, where she was greeted by a number of familiar faces.
Last Saturday’s event was a great success and raised more than £9,000. The day also included the opening of a completed summer house at the school, which was refurbished as a retiring gift for the previous head teacher, Rosemarie Hill.
Holly said that after an initial welcome from former head teacher Sister Marie Louise, she loved having the opportunity to open the school’s main summer event. ‘It was lovely,’ she said. ‘It was really nice to go back and see everyone. There were so many welcoming faces.’
