THE outcome of a major review of current child protection services will be made public tomorrow.
The inquiry has been conducted by the former head of Devon Social Services, Andrew Williamson, and it started last September.
It was launched after former Health Minister Stuart Syvret made allegations about alleged shortcomings in the Island’s child protection apparatus.
As a result of the serious allegations made by the Senator, the Council of Ministers appointed Mr Williamson in September last year to carry out the review.
The Williamson review was well under way before news of the States police inquiry into alleged child abuse at children’s homes was made public earlier this year.
