The annual fund raiser, which is now in its 14th year, hopes to raise some £2,000 taking their overall contribution to various Charities over the years to a staggering £40,000.

La Moye schoolteacher Mike Steigenberger said: ‘It’s fantastic seeing all the children enjoying themselves while raising money for Oxfam, we had a brilliant morning and it was well organised. The standard of the football continues to improve every year; it was played in a very good spirit by all the schools and it was very good to watch.’

La Moye, who beat St John in the final, were represented by Charlie Nichols, Charlie Norton, Hayden Bishop, William Kaye, Oliver Kenny, Daniel Turmel, Jason Stokes, Harrison Moon and Tyanni Porée.
