Reid gets Reds call

0519953_2_cropped.jpgFA Cup giant killers Havant and Waterlooville are travelling with a full first-team squad to play two matches against Jersey this week.

The Conference South club, who reached the fourth round of the FA Cup last year before gallantly going out 5-2 against Liverpool at Anfield, play tomorrow night at Springfield, kick off 7.30, and again on Saturday afternoon at 2.30.

Visiting team manager Shaun Gale is looking forward to the trip as he prepares his team for the season ahead. Gale said: ‘We’re looking forward to the visit. We have a lot of new players this season and it’s important that we get them bedded in quickly.

Jersey manager Dave Kennedy, who has a couple of players away this week, said: ‘This is an excellent opportunity to get our players together so early in the season and I know we will be in for two tough games.
