Miss Junior Battle of Flowers

0575066_cropped.jpgEIGHT-year-old Darcey Kelly is this year’s Miss Junior Battle of Flowers.

The La Moye School pupil beat off competition from 19 other girls to take the title yesterday.

Darcey has just finish-ed Year 3 and in her spare time enjoys karate, swimming and cycling. The daughter of Fiona and Mark, she has one sister, Alex. She said that she entered the competition because she loves everything about the Battle of Flowers, particularly the ‘amazing floats’.

The other six girls picked by judges for the final round yesterday were Aimée Le Brun, Stephanie de la Haye, Katie Bennett-Jones, Harriet Hall, Jennifer Russ and Sophie Young.
