Beach soccer bonanza for Jersey

00491501_cropped.jpgTHE English Beach Soccer Super Final is coming to Jersey and so, too, are the England team.

Beach Soccer is still relatively new to the Island with the league in its second season but the attraction of England playing against Jersey and the super final being contested here is sure to boost interest further both on the spectator and spectator fronts.

Will Partington, who is recognised through FIFA, said: ‘It’s going to be a fantastic weekend, the England Super Series is really popular in England and I’m delighted to have secured the series final for Jersey.

‘This is a great chance for us to showcase a new sport and the Island will be at the forefront as it will be televised by Nuts TV which is a free viewing channel on Sky TV.’
