TWO Jersey Special Gymnastics Club members have been selected for the British Gymnastics Disabilities Squad.
Alex Buesnel (15), pictured, and Samantha Godel (17) will travel with the British team to Gran Canaria later this year to take part in the Bloome Festival of Gymnastics.
Jersey’s Harry Smale (17) just missed out on selection, although he has been named as first reserve for the squad.
The gymnasts were assessed last month at the Lilleshalle National Sports Centre, where they travelled with coach Yana Vibert and carer Johnny Ambrose for a weekend of training with the national squads.
