Bmi end the early flight to Heathrow

0444132_cropped.jpgAIRLINE bmi is scrapping the morning flight from Jersey to Heathrow from next month.

There will still be two flights a day from the Island to one of the world’s busiest airports, but the chance to go on a day-trip to London via Heathrow all but disappears when the airline introduces its winter schedule on 26 October.

According to the airline’s website, the first flight of the day will arrive in Jersey at 8.50 am. However, the aircraft will sit on the ground for over four hours ahead of a 12.55 pm departure to Heathrow.

The second flight will arrive in Jersey at 4.45 pm and depart back to Heathrow at 7.15 pm.
