News from the Jersey Evening Post

Do you recognise these two men?

00584161_cropped.jpgDETECTIVES have released images of two men they want to speak to in connection with a brutal mugging in Snow Hill car park.

The pair were recorded on CCTV cameras walking along Queen Street at around 4.15 am on Saturday 16 August shortly before a 33-year-old man was attacked and robbed.

The victim was found lying on the ground in the car park with cuts and bruises. He had been punched and kicked before cash and a mobile phone were stolen from his pockets.

One of the men captured on CCTV is described as being a white European of medium height and build. He is either bald or has very close-cropped fair hair and was wearing a khaki-coloured, long-sleeve shirt with the cuffs partially rolled up, a dark neck tie and dark trousers.

The second man is also described as being a white European and of medium height and build. He had short dark hair, which was cut short at the sides and the back, and wore an open-necked, short-sleeved, light-coloured shirt and blue denim jeans.

Both men were seen drinking bottles of beer as they walked up Queen Street.

Anyone who can identify the men should call the police on 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
