Lucy stars in Turkey shoot

00327739_2_cropped.jpgJERSEY teenager Lucy O’Sullivan has qualified in second place for the elimination stage of the head-to-heads in the Compound Junior Women championships at the FITA Youth World Championships in Antalya, Turkey.

Beaulieu student O’Sullivan, above, who won a bronze medal two years ago in Merida, Mexico, completed the qualifying process with a second over 50 metres and 14th over 30 for a total of 1,372 points – 13 short of Kendal Nicely of the United States. The head-to-head matches start today with the final scheduled for Sunday.
