Will Jersey Rally title go West?

00518549_cropped.jpgLOCAL drivers could have a battle on their hands if they intend to dominate this year’s Paperclix Jersey Rally top ten.

Clerk of the course Ron Allen says the standard of entries this year is extremely high – and that Jersey’s drivers could be overshadowed by unknown competition from Guernsey, France and the UK.

However, he says the event could also yield some interesting results, as many lower-seeded drivers are racing this weekend on the back of some good seasons.

Top seed and Jersey driver Simon Mauger is the obvious favourite, having won the event last year, although number six seed and UK driver David West is said to be the drivers’ choice to win.
