TEENAGER Leanne Le Feuvre is the luckiest girl in Jersey – after walking away unscathed from two horrific car crashes in just three weeks.
The 19-year-old first cheated death when she wrote off her Peugeot after it crashed into a bank and flipped over on St John’s Road. Just weeks later she again escaped unharmed after a car being driven by her friend, Katy Da Silva, skidded off a road and plunged more than 20 feet down a ravine.
Miss Le Feuvre walked away without any serious injuries, and Miss Da Silva, also aged 19, suffered only minor injuries and was kept in hospital for two days for observations. Miss Le Feuvre today said: ‘I feel so lucky, but I am also wondering whether I am cursed. I think there must be someone up there watching over me. Both the accidents have really made me appreciate life a lot more.’
Miss Le Feuvre’s first accident happened on the evening of 22 October when her car skidded on leaves on a wet road.
And in another twist, the accident was witnessed by Miss Da Silva, who was driving behind her at the time.
