There was more success for the Jersey Democratic Alliance in St Helier No 1, where party chairman Trevor Pitman took one of three seats as a newcomer to the States.

There was a clean sweep for the Jersey Democratic Alliance in St Helier No 2.

Another unsuccessful candidate in last month’s Senatorial elections, Montfort Tadier, won a Deputy’s seat in St Brelade No 2.

At 21, Jeremy Macon became the youngest ever States member by taking one of the two seats in St Saviour No 1.

Accountant Eddie Noel will replace newly elected Constable Deidre Mezbourian as one of St Lawrence’s new Deputies
Election result: St Clement
The first casualty of the night was St Clement Deputy Gerard Baudains, beaten into third place by newcomer Anne Dupre.
Election result: St Peter
St Peter Deputy Collin Egre, who failed in his bid to become Constable last month, was narrowly returned for another three years
Election result: St Saviour No 2
Finance industry executive Tracey Vallois, at 25, became one of the youngest people ever elected to the States when she took one of two seats in St Saviour No 2.
Election result: St John
In St John, a former Deputy, Philip Rondel, made a convincing comeback to take the seat vacated by Home Affairs Minister Andrew Lewis.
