Jersey Finance’s head of greater China business development, Zhaoan Li
A DELEGATION from Jersey is in Hong Kong and China this week to make presentations on the Island’s finance industry.
Last week applications were submitted for the first Jersey companies to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, so the visit is timely.
The group will include representatives from Jersey Finance Ltd as well as from a variety of finance businesses. They are due to make presentations in Hong Kong and Shanghai during the trip, which begins today.
Approval was given in October last year for Jersey companies to be listed on the Hong Kong exchange. The presentations will focus on what makes Jersey companies suitable vehicles for listing purposes.
Jersey Finance’s head of greater China business development, Zhaoan Li, and technical director Robert Kirkby will lead the presentations about the Island.
