Elizabeth Cann is to represent England at the Commonwealth Games
JERSEY badminton stars Elizabeth Cann and Mariana Agathangelou are to represent England at this year’s Commonwealth Games.
Cann (31) described the news that she has made the National side as ‘bittersweet’ as she, like Agathangelou, will have to turn down her place on the Island team.
As a result Jersey will now send 31 representatives instead of 33 to Delhi to the event from 3-14 October.
