The Condor Express is operating at reduced power because of an engine fault
FERRY sailing times to the UK and Guernsey this weekend have been changed because of engine problems on one of Condor Ferries’ ships.
All journeys will still take place but some crossings will take longer than scheduled or leave later, as the Condor Express will be operating at reduced power.

who remembers the stick they gave HD ferries when one of there engines where needing fixed oh how the tables have turn come back HD ferries we miss the fares

Be kind to Condor.
I’ve been on ferries from the same Antipodean stable in other parts of the world and noticed only three lots of water coming out at the back.

In response to #1, HD had problems with their only ferry ! And said ferry seemed to be a one off, requiring parts to be specially made. Yes, their fares were low, but they really did not understand what was required of them. Ferry broken ? Did they charter a replacement or simply give their customers a refund.
To be honest, Condor’s operational problems this year are not really news worthy. They are currently an engine down on ONE of their three fast ferries. A container load of spuds caught fire on the Clipper. What did they do? Chartered a replacement ship within days, because they are running a sustainable reliable business.
HD were basically creaming off the summer trade, and their actions could have been detremental to the Channel Islands having an all year service.
