A JERSEY-owned and run family business established in 1954 is diversifying to meet the challenge of changing trading conditions, adding secure storage solutions to its cash-and-carry operations.

Allied Traders was founded by Leslie White, initially as a wholesale distribution firm specialising in supplies for the Island’s agricultural industry.

Later, the business focused on hotel and restaurant supplies and a couple of years ago switched from traditional wholesaling to cash-and-carry operations, offering a service to households as well as commercial organisations.

Now, in addition to items such as cleaning products, hardware and swimming pool supplies, the firm also supplies beers, wines and spirits.
