Jobs secure as Moore Group is bought out

THERE will be no redundancies as a result of a deal for an Isle of Man trust group to acquire a locally-owned funds business.
Assurances have been given that no jobs will be lost as a result of IFG Trust and Corporate Group’s acquisition of Moore Group.
However, eight staff members from the fund administration section of IFG Trust and Corporate Group are expected to move to Moore’s Liberation House offices.
It was announced last week that an agreement has been reached for IFG to buy Moore subject to final regulatory approval.
